Itineraries

The Grand Hotel Rosa Marina is strategically located to discover all the historical, architectural and natural wonders offered by our region.

A few kilometers away, lying on three hills, overlooking a green carpet of silvery olive trees, Ostuni, the "White City". Inside the turreted walls of the end of the XV century, the old town is a maze of picturesque lanes, embroidered with a white stone houses, Baroque palaces joined by stairs, narrow streets and shops. A little further on, continuing along the coast, you reach the natural reserve of Torre Guaceto, the archeological site of Egnatia, and a few steps towards the inland, the famous Trulli of Alberobello and the suggestive Grotte di Castellana. These are just some of the places to visit during your stay at Rosa Marina.

In the province of Brindisi stones and buildings tell the story of this land. The Via Appia and the Via Traiana, which connected the city to Rome, have left their mark on the modern roads that follow their path. The city where Virgil died, houses the remains of two columns of the second century B.C., which marked the end of the Via Appia.

The Norman-Swabian and Angevin mark prevails in the interior areas of the province and in the land that was Messapi, and becomes evident in the castles of Mesa, Oria and Ceglie Messapica. In this area, next to the urban landscape, it is important the landscape modeled by nature, with ravines and caves carved over the centuries by the patient work of rivers. Rock evidence of the civilization of the Basilian monks are near Ostuni. There are
towers
along the coast north of Brindisi and they tell the story of pirate and Saracens.
These are just some of the places to visit during your stay with Rosa Marina.
